Endpoints​

Endpoints are automatically created for each Service and contain the IPs of the backend Pods.

EndpointSlices​

EndpointSlices are an improved version of Endpoints for better performance with many Pods.

Advantages:

  • Better scalability
  • Fewer API requests
  • Support for more than 1000 endpoints
