Accessibility Statement

1. Our commitment
InSkillBoost is committed to making its content accessible to all users, including people with disabilities. We aim to comply with:
- WCAG 2.1 Level AA (Web Content Accessibility Guidelines, W3C),
- The European Accessibility Act (EAA) — Directive (EU) 2019/882, applicable since 28 June 2025,
- The Quebec Standard SGQRI 008 for accessibility,
- The US ADA (Americans with Disabilities Act) principles for digital content,
- The Canadian Accessible Canada Act.
2. Compliance status
This site is partially compliant with WCAG 2.1 Level AA. We are continuously improving accessibility and welcome user feedback.
Conformant features
- Semantic HTML structure with appropriate heading levels.
- Keyboard navigation across all interactive elements.
- Sufficient color contrast for body text.
- Visible focus indicators.
- Lazy-loaded images with descriptive
altattributes. - Responsive layout adapting from mobile to wide desktop.
- Right-to-left (RTL) support for Arabic.
- Multilingual content (8 languages).
Known limitations
- Some embedded diagrams (Mermaid) currently lack textual descriptions for screen readers.
- Some technical screenshots may not have detailed alt text yet.
- Code blocks are generally accessible, but the dark theme is forced (no light/dark toggle yet).
We are actively working to fix these issues.
3. Assistive technologies
The Site has been tested with:
- Screen readers: NVDA (Windows), VoiceOver (macOS/iOS), TalkBack (Android).
- Browsers: Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge — last 3 major versions.
- Keyboard-only navigation.
4. How to report an accessibility issue

5. Methods used to test the Site
- Automated audits with Lighthouse, axe DevTools and WAVE.
- Manual keyboard navigation tests.
- Screen-reader walkthroughs on key pages.
6. Continuous improvement
Accessibility is an ongoing effort. We re-evaluate the site whenever we publish a new course or major UI change.
