Terms of Use

Last updated: 11 August 2026 Effective date: 11 August 2026

Welcome to InSkillBoost ("we", "us", "our", or the "Service"), an educational platform operated by Haythem Rehouma, based in Quebec, Canada. By accessing or using https://inskillboost.com (the "Site"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use ("Terms"). If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age required in your country, e.g. 16 in the European Union under GDPR). Users under the age of majority must obtain consent from a parent or legal guardian.

2. Service description

InSkillBoost provides hands-on training content in cloud, DevOps, AI/ML, cybersecurity and software engineering. Enrolling in a course gives you progress tracking, lesson by lesson, and a verifiable certificate of completion for each course you finish.

Access comes in three forms, and the catalogue states which applies to each course:

  • Free courses, open to any account, with no payment and no card.
  • Premium courses, which you may either buy individually — a single payment, access kept for life — or reach through a subscription covering the whole catalogue for as long as it runs.
  • Courses being written, announced with their syllabus. They are neither sold nor enrollable until their lessons are published.

The content is provided for educational purposes only and does not constitute professional advice (legal, financial, security, etc.).

2 bis. Prices, payment, cancellation and refunds

  • Prices are displayed on the pricing page and on each course, in US dollars, Canadian dollars or euros depending on where you browse. The amount shown is the amount charged: nothing is converted at checkout. Where sales tax applies to you, it is calculated and shown before you confirm.
  • Payment is handled by Stripe. Your card details are entered on Stripe's page and never reach our servers.
  • A single-course purchase is a one-off payment. The access it opens is not time-limited and does not depend on any subscription.
  • A subscription renews automatically at the end of each period, at the price in force when you subscribed, until you cancel. You may cancel at any time; cancelling stops the next payment and you keep access until the end of the period already paid. Courses you bought individually are unaffected.
  • Right of withdrawal and refunds. You may request a refund within fourteen days of a purchase, without having to justify it, by writing to contact@inskillboost.com. This goes beyond what the law strictly requires for digital content delivered immediately, and we apply it anyway.
  • Price changes apply only to future purchases and to subscription periods beginning after we have told you. A price never changes retroactively on something already paid.
  • Free courses listed as such are meant to stay free. If that ever changed, anyone already enrolled would keep their access.

3. User accounts and passwords

  • Creating an account is free and requires a valid email address. You can sign in with a one-time email link, a password, Google or GitHub.
  • Your account is personal. You are responsible for activity under it and for keeping its credentials confidential.
  • The first and last name you set on your account appear on your certificates; you warrant they are your own.
  • Certificates attest completion of a course on this platform. They are not academic degrees or professional accreditations, and each carries a public code allowing anyone to verify its authenticity.
  • Paid access is personal and not transferable. Sharing an account, or reselling or redistributing paid course content, may result in immediate termination without refund.

4. Acceptable use

You agree NOT to:

  1. Copy, redistribute, mirror, scrape or republish course content without written permission.
  2. Use automated tools (bots, scrapers) to download the Site beyond what is allowed by robots.txt.
  3. Attempt to bypass authentication, reverse-engineer or attack the Site's security.
  4. Upload or transmit malware, illegal content, harassment or hate speech.
  5. Use the Service to violate any applicable law (Canadian, Quebec, your local jurisdiction).

5. Intellectual property

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Quebec, Canada, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute will be brought before the courts of the Judicial District of Montreal, Quebec, Canada — except where mandatory consumer-protection laws of your country grant you the right to bring proceedings in your local courts.
