MODULE 3 - Pods and Deployments

Overview

This module teaches you how to deploy and manage applications in Kubernetes. You will discover Pods (the smallest deployable unit), ReplicaSets for replication, and Deployments for managing the complete lifecycle of your applications.

Key Concepts

Pods

Pods are the smallest deployable unit in Kubernetes. A Pod can contain one or more containers that share resources.

ReplicaSets

ReplicaSets maintain a stable number of running Pod replicas.

Deployments

Deployments manage ReplicaSets and provide declarative update, rollback, and scaling capabilities.
