One road, eleven stages, and an honest order to take them in. Six stages of main road take you from a first Python script to an infrastructure you can deploy, secure and watch; after that the road forks and you pick a speciality. It opens with two free courses, and no stage requires the previous one to have been bought.

    The two tools you never stop using

    Python and Git come up every single day, whatever job you end up doing. Both are free here, and neither assumes anything before it.

    Package it once

    The container is the unit everything downstream deals with: pipelines, clusters, managed services. Kubernetes is the long haul of this road, and it is free.

    Infrastructure you can review

    Clicking through a console builds something nobody can rebuild. Terraform on LocalStack first, where a mistake costs nothing, then the same thing against a real AWS account.

    Running it on AWS

    Compute, network, storage, and the bill that follows. The entry course runs forty hours and starts at account creation, so nothing is skipped.

    Shipping without holding your breath

    Pipelines, tests and quality gates. This stage is the difference between deploying on a Friday and deploying on a Friday calmly.

    Secure it, then watch it

    IAM done properly, isolation, encryption, logging, detection — then the metrics that warn you before a customer does. An infrastructure you cannot see is one you cannot defend.

    Where the data sits, how it moves, and what it costs to query. SQL comes first because everything after it assumes you have it.

    Get hired, and prove it

    The last stage is not technical. A findable portfolio, documented work, interview practice — and a verifiable certificate for every course you finish.

The road starts free

Python, Git and Kubernetes are open on sign-up, and they cover the first two stages — around eighty hours of work. Take them, see whether this line of work suits you, and only then decide what the rest is worth.
